Vision Trip December 13-21st

In a megacity, there are many campuses. They are often a one building campus (like the one below) located on a busy city street..

Days on Campus

There are campuses where we know a few Christian students and some campuses where we know no one. This week, we went to 6 different universities and one of them was unique. We showed up not knowing anyone and we met a key individual who brought the team into an English class. The team was able to speak with the class and invite them all to a New Year's party on Saturday. Several of them came , so now we will pursue those students we met to continue to share the Gospel. A member of the trip explained how, "Each day stepping on campus was a deepening of my faith realizing I had to trust God to bring me to the person with whom I could communicate the Gospel."

On another campus, we spent an evening in a dorm where Jessica, a CCC staff member on the trip, was able to have a discussion on Nutrition & Beauty (pictured below). The topic was a segway to talk about the true source of beauty; the Lord. Eight women came and these women were challenged in their thinking. Pray that these women would put their faith in the Lord.

From ice skating on Red Square to exploring the city sites we did have a chance to spend a little time showing off this great city.

Hospital Visit

At the hospital where we had done some work this fall, we were able to remodel some rooms for the children and brought them gifts for Christmas. When we spent the day helping the children and sharing the meaning of Christmas, we knew this was significant in the lives of the children, their families and ours.

One of the mother's told us, "I notice that there is a difference in your group. Some people come and just give us gifts, but it's obvious that you really care about us."
